In 1902, a series of revival meeting resulted in the formation of a new church in Kaka'ako, O'ahu - the Kaka'ako Mission. The Mission faithfully ministered to many people in Honolulu, and had a congregation of up to 500 people. In 1956, Kaka'ako Mission found a new home in Moanalua, as Moanalua Gardens Missionary Church. In 2003, we sensed God's call to go back to Kaka'ako and plant this church.
our purpose
We exist as a church to:
Reach people with the love of Jesus,
Inspire them to develop into joyful followers of Jesus,
Prepare them to live lives of purpose, and
Empower them to make an eternal difference throughout the world
… All to the glory of God.

"…I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest."
(John 4:35)

" Jesus replied, "The most important commandment is this: 'Hear, O Israel! The Lord our God is the one and only Lord. And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength.' The second is equally important: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' No other commandment is greater than these."
(Mark 12:29-31)

" Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age."
(Matthew 28:19-20)

"But when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, you will receive power and will tell people about me everywhere--in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."
(Acts 1:8)
