Faith is believing when I cannot see.

​

Genesis 6:9-22

Through faith, Noah obeyed God even when he could not see. He had never seen it rain so much that it flooded, and yet he trusted God and built an ark even though it did not make sense to do so.

 

Like Noah, we can believe God will do what he says even when we cannot see or understand it.

Expecting the best

​

1 Samual 17:32-51a

Through faith, David believed that God would help him defeat the giant Goliath. David had confident assurance that God was in control of his situation and his future. In the same way we can know that our plan is unique and that God’s plan is the best.

​

Like David, we can trust that God will fight for us even when it seems scary or too big.

Stretching my imagination

 

Joshua 3

Through faith, Joshua stretched his imagination and believed in God’s plan. He let go of his doubt and chose to believe and stepped out in faith. In the same way, we can have courageous faith and know that God’s plan will stretch our faith.

 

Like Joshua, I can imagine that God has a wonderful plan for me. I can let go of my fears and doubt and have courageous faith.

Faith is standing strong

 

Joshua 3

Through faith, Daniel stood strong in his faith. He took initiative to do what is right, and he continued to be faithful and obedient to God. Daring faith is taking initiative.

 

Like Daniel, I can be mighty in my faith! I can be faithful and obedient to God.
